Short film: IEPE

about me

I was born in Pindamonhangaba, a small town in Brazil.

When I was 16, I started working in a small community TV in my hometown, in my last position in the company I was directing and editing a weekly TV show. My department was also responsible for the creation of spot, TV show intros, as well. It was a wonderful experience where I could realize the importance of pipeline and teamwork.

Afterwards, I moved to Sao Paulo to get my degree in Digital Design. During those four years, I was able to apply all the knowledge I was getting to my work in a studio where I was responsible for editing and creation of animations and motion graphics. At a national TV channel, as part of a team of designers, I was responsible for the design of spots, intros, among other things.

But it was working freelance that I had more freedom to create and experiment. Working for different studios I had the opportunity to create for big companies like Fox Brazil, Spanish CNN, Itau Bank, etc.

So, in 2007, I left everything behind and went to Vancouver Film School, where I could learn and practice the pipeline of an animation production. The result of not just one year of hard work, but a year of my life chasing my dream, you can check in my short film.
